Amanda is a recent graduate of St. Francis College, where she earned a Bachelor's of Science in Education. She landed a 4th grade teaching position in an elementary school right out of college. On Saturday, Amanda will give valuable advice to those looking to enter the Education field. She will describe in detail the process of becoming a teacher - including the necessary schooling, the certification process, Student Teaching, and the different requirements for Catholic school versus public school, as well as the rewards and challenges.
